Privacy and cookies
Last updated 28 October 2026
- There is no account and nothing to sign up for.
- Your designs are calculated in your browser. The values you type are not sent to us.
- The site shows ads from Google AdSense, which uses cookies. You can turn off personalised ads at any time (see below).
Your designs stay on your device
The calculators work entirely in your browser: the design, the drawings, the 3D model and the PDF report are all made on your own device. The sizes, loads and names you enter are not uploaded to this site.
So that your work is still there when you come back, the calculator keeps your inputs in your browser's local storage. Nobody else can read them. To remove them, use Reset to example in the calculator, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
Advertising and cookies
This site is free because it shows advertising served by Google AdSense. About advertising cookies:
- Third-party vendors, Google among them, use cookies to show ads based on your earlier visits to this site and to other sites.
- Google's advertising cookies let Google and its partners show you ads based on your visits to this site and to other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's My Ad Center (the ad settings for your Google account and browser).
- You can also opt out of personalised ads from many other third-party vendors at aboutads.info, or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu.
Google explains how it uses information from sites that show its ads in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, and how it uses cookies in advertising in Google's advertising policy.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are asked for your consent before ads use cookies or personal data, and you can change your choice later from the privacy settings link the consent message leaves on the page. If you do not consent, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which are chosen from the page you are reading rather than from your past browsing.
Fonts
The pages use fonts from Google Fonts. To fetch them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which see your IP address. Google describes what it does with this in the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
Server logs
Like most websites, the server that hosts this site keeps standard access logs: the IP address, the page asked for, the browser and the time. They are used only to keep the site secure and running, and are deleted after a short time.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site uses data changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top changed.
